French publisher Ubisoft has announced that 80 games in its catalogue now carry accessibility tags from the Accessible Games Initiative (AGI), a programme it helped found.

The tags appear on each game’s product page and help players see which accessibility features are available before they buy. Examples include Narrated Menus, Save Anytime, Full Input Remapping and Large & Clear Subtitles.

According to Ubisoft, the tags were developed with players with disabilities, accessibility advocacy groups and development teams. Assassin’s Creed, Trackmania, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Watch Dogs: Legion are among the games already tagged.

The company says more tags and more games will be added as the programme grows. Definitions of each tag are on the initiative’s website.
