The University of Bahrain held a “Positive Mental Health” workshop for students of the Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari College for Teachers, to prepare them to support children’s psychological and behavioural well-being.

Delivered on 27 October by Professor Shaikha Al-Junaid of the Department of Psychology, it covered positive mental health, parenting styles and their effect on children’s behaviour, and different pupil personality types.

It also featured an educational film, practical exercises and classroom simulations to help future teachers create a safe, supportive learning environment.
