The University of Crete, Greece, hosted an outdoor game session near the Department of Physics on 23 October, as part of the INGENIUM European university alliance’s Sustainability Week.

Students played a short card-based version of FutureProof, an escape-room-style game about climate change and environmental awareness. Teams solved puzzles based on real environmental issues and made choices showing how everyday decisions affect the world.

FutureProof was created by students from several INGENIUM universities and funded through the Student Partnerships programme. The university said play can be an effective way to learn about sustainability.
