Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) held a mental wellness session titled “The Weight You Don’t Talk About: Healing Invisible Wounds, Trusting the Unknown” in its Senate Room on 12 October.

Led by organisational psychologist Dr Alizi Alias, the session focused on emotional burdens, self-awareness and resilience. About 100 participants attended, mostly students.

The event was part of the university’s Mental Health Month and was delivered under a cooperation agreement with a company in the country. Health service director Dr Deeni Rudita Idris stressed that mental health matters as much as physical health.
