Nedyalko Delchev, Theater Professor at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG), directed “The Terrible Parents” by French playwright Jean Cocteau, which recently premiered on the Chamber Stage of Sofia Theatre in the Bulgarian capital.
The play explores the complicated relationships within a family, where love and devotion can become intertwined with jealousy, control and the fear of losing those closest to us.
“But above all, this is a play about love,” Delchev explains. He also brings his professional stage experience into the university’s theatre classes.
