The Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), coordinator of the European co-OPERATOR project, presented the results of three years of work to promote vaccination at the European Parliament in Brussels on 13 October.

Funded by the EU4Health programme, the project brought together ten partners from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands. It included surveys of the public and health professionals on COVID-19 and influenza vaccines, a digital platform with an AI assistant, and training programmes.

Coordinator Dr Angelos Kassianos stressed that no single solution fits all countries. Recommendations include non-financial incentives, communication training, stable funding and combined seasonal vaccination. The platform will remain openly available.
