The Technological University of Panama (UTP) held its traditional Honor Chapter ceremony, which recognises students for their consistency, commitment and dedication. In 2026, 583 students from the main campus and regional centres were honoured.

To join the Honor Chapter, students must be at least in their third year and keep a grade point average of 2.50 or higher. Vice Rector Alex Matus said achievements come from effort and perseverance.

A guest consultant spoke about the professional profiles employers look for. Student Juan Aranda, who ranked first, told his classmates that education is the only way to get ahead.
