The National University of Asunción (UNA), Paraguay, held the “Correcaminata for Life” on 16 October, a walk-and-run event for Pink October under the slogan “Together for more lives”.

The aim was to raise breast cancer awareness, promote early detection and encourage physical activity and healthy habits. The route ran from the Hospital de Clínicas gate to the Rectorate building on the San Lorenzo campus.

The event was organised by the Mastology Unit of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, with support from the university’s extension and human resources departments, and representatives of several academic units took part.
